1924 Wade Hampton Pipes Arts and Crafts Home

This Dunthorpe residence was reimagined from the ground up — thoughtfully remodeled to honor its architectural legacy while elevating it for modern living. Working with deep respect for the original vision of Wade Hampton Pipes — one of Portland’s most celebrated Arts and Crafts architects — our team carefully restored and reintroduced historic detailing throughout the home. Every molding, proportion, and material choice was considered to preserve the integrity of Pipes’ design while ensuring the home functions beautifully today. In collaboration with acclaimed interior designer Jessica Helgerson, we seamlessly integrated refined interior elements that complement the architecture’s craftsmanship and character. The result is a residence that feels both timeless and fresh — a home that honors its past while confidently embracing the present. At its core, this project reflects what we do best: blending architectural heritage with thoughtful design-build execution to create spaces that endure.
